<\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div>Hosting Organization:<\/b> ASPEm – Cochabamba’s office<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n In Bolivia, ASPEm works on promoting agroecology, organizational strengthening, and the role of women in society. It supports community leadership in rural areas, with a strong focus on women’s and youth groups, in the fields of work and health. The active projects lead to positive changes in the economy of families and communities while producing environmental well-being.Together with local partners, ASPEm promotes education and awareness to foster the building of inclusive societies, combat gender violence, and defend children’s rights. Specifically, in this project, ASPEm collaborates with two local actors: Yachay Chhalaku and Tukuy Pacha.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div> 1 position available<\/span> We are looking for volunteer passionate about education and gender equity, with skills in design, monitoring, and project management. It is essential that they value adaptation and respect for different cultures. Initiative and innovation in violence prevention actions are required, as well as an understanding of gender and masculinity approaches. Additionally, they must have experience in implementing educational strategies that promote equality and respect between genders. Volunteer should be willing to work in local communities and have an interest in social and educational development.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div> The volunteer will contribute in two fundamental areas: violence prevention and education, with the aim of preventing various forms of violence (domestic, school, gender, etc.). The volunteer will support these activities in Yachay Chhalaku:<\/span><\/p>\n The volunteer will work 35 hours per week in Yachay Chhalaku, with 2 days off per month. Activities will take place on the ground, with local communities, and in the office.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div> 1 position available<\/span> We are looking for a person committed to promoting the inclusion of women with disabilities in rural communities in Cochabamba and knowledge of the CBR strategy (Community Based Rehabilitation). Respect for different cultures and a spirit of initiative in actions to prevent discrimination and violence are essential. They must be able to handle gender and masculinity approaches and be familiar with and implement inclusive educational strategies aimed at women and students. Skills in project design, monitoring and management are an advantage.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div> The volunteer will work 35 hours per week with 2 days off per month.
